Queen’s College Among Teams at Graeme Rugby Festival

MAKHANDA, Eastern Cape – Graeme College will host the Wildeklawer Graeme College Rugby Festival from 19 to 21 March 2026, with dozens of school rugby teams from across the Eastern Cape and beyond set to compete over three days of fixtures.

The festival will feature junior, age-group and senior rugby matches, with games played across Somerset Field, Marais A Field and Marais B Field at the Graeme College grounds. Schools participating include several well-known rugby programmes such as Queen’s College, Selborne College, Dale College, Grey High School, Hudson Park, Nico Malan High School, and Kingswood College.

The event is expected to attract players, coaches, parents and rugby supporters from across the region, continuing the Eastern Cape’s strong tradition of school rugby festivals.

Thursday 19 March – Junior Festival

The rugby festival begins on Thursday with the U13 festival, where junior teams from multiple schools will compete throughout the day.
