38 Foreign Nationals Apprehended During Joint Operation in East London.

A total of 38 foreign nationals reported to be undocumented were apprehended during a joint law enforcement operation along Terminus and Buffalo streets in KuGompo City (East London).

The operation involved the Eastern Cape Missing Persons and Trafficking Unit, immigration officials and members of the South African Police Service (SAPS).

According to information shared about the operation, several individuals were arrested for alleged immigration violations, while fines were issued where applicable.

Those arrested are expected to appear before the East London Magistrate’s Court.
