Ramaphosa to Visit Dairy Farm in Stutterheim.
President Cyril Ramaphosa will visit Redlands Dairy Farm in Stutterheim on Thursday, 8 October 2026, as part of a government programme focusing on agricultural development and funding support.
The farm, situated in the Amahlathi Local Municipality in the Amathole District, is a black-owned and youth-owned commercial farming enterprise supported through the Land Bank’s Blended Finance Scheme.
The scheme is implemented by the Land Bank in partnership with the Department of Agriculture and supports both commercial and emerging farmers.
During the visit, Ramaphosa is expected to engage with the farm owner and review the impact of Land Bank funding on the farm’s operations, job creation and contribution to rural economic development.
The Land Bank says it disbursed more than R1.7 billion in funding during the previous financial year, including about R700 million through the Blended Finance Scheme.
The presidential farm visit is scheduled for 11:00, followed by an official programme and address at the Mzwandile Fanti Community Hall in Stutterheim from 12:30.
Media access to the farm during the presidential visit will be limited due to foot-and-mouth disease protocols.
