Komani Stars Edge Black Stars FC in 2–1 Thriller

Komani Stars emerged victorious in a hard-fought 2-1 win over Black Stars FC, despite the visitors’ spirited comeback in the second half.

The match, played at an electrifying pace, saw Komani Stars capitalize on early opportunities, scoring two goals in the first half.

However, Black Stars FC refused to give up, and a thrilling turnaround in the second half saw them pull one back through Ayakha Bhokwe (Rosta), assisted by Phiwo Kuhle Siyo (Gene), with just 10 minutes remaining.

Black Stars FC coach Sima Funda expressed pride in his team’s performance, acknowledging the valuable lessons learned from the encounter.

“It was a challenging game, and we gave it our all, but luck wasn’t on our side today. We conceded two early goals, but the team’s spirit and determination were evident in our comeback,” said Funda.

Funda also praised the substituted players who made an impact, saying, “We’re proud of today’s performance, and we’ve identified areas for improvement. We’ll work on those mistakes and move forward.”
