Entries Open for 2026 Bonkolo Marathon in Komani.

Runners are encouraged to secure their entries for the 2026 Twizza Bonkolo Marathon, scheduled to take place in Komani on Saturday, 7 November 2026.

The event will feature three race distances, including the full 42.2km marathon, a 21.1km half-marathon and a 12km race, catering for runners of different fitness levels.

The races are scheduled to start at 05:30 from the Queenstown Power and Yacht Club at Bonkolo Dam.

The event, held in association with Queenstown Harriers and Border Athletics, is also listed as a Comrades Marathon qualifier.

Entries close on 1 November 2026, with a late-entry fee applicable thereafter. The first 600 entrants will receive free race shirts.

The marathon weekend will also include a burger evening on Friday, 6 November, followed by a family fun day on Saturday, 7 November.

Race pack collection will take place at Bonkolo Dam.
