Breaking: Woman found dead near Ezibeleni four-way stop

Police in Komani have launched an investigation after the body of a young woman was discovered near the Ezibeleni four-way stop on Monday morning.

According to police spokesperson Captain Yolisa Mgolodela, officers on patrol were alerted to the situation by members of the public earlier in the day.

Body discovered near roadside

Police said three men approached officers while they were on patrol and informed them that there was a lifeless body of a young woman near the Ezibeleni four-way stop.

Officers immediately rushed to the scene to investigate the report. Upon arrival, police found the body of the woman lying on the ground.

A man identified as the boyfriend of the deceased was reportedly present next to the body when police arrived.

Police asked the man to provide details about the woman, including her name and age, which he reportedly supplied to officers at the scene.

Police investigation continues

Authorities confirmed that a confession document is currently underway, while investigations into the circumstances surrounding the woman’s death continue.

At this stage, police have not released additional details about the cause of death or the events leading up to the incident.
