Breaking: Workers demand unpaid salaries at district offices

Security guards and cleaners gathered at the Chris Hani District Municipality offices in Komani on Tuesday morning demanding payment of alleged outstanding salaries from companies contracted by the municipality.

The situation is still unfolding. It is unclear at this stage how many workers are involved or whether services have been disrupted.
