Truck stolen in Indwe, suspects believed heading towards Ngcobo or Mthatha
A truck theft has been reported in Indwe in the Eastern Cape, with the owner appealing to the public for urgent assistance after the vehicle was taken earlier today.
According to information shared with Komani News, the truck was allegedly stolen approximately two hours before the alert was issued. The incident reportedly involved a group of four suspects travelling in a white double cab.
The stolen vehicle is described as having registration number FHB 480 MM. It is further alleged that both the vehicle’s registration plates and tracking device were removed shortly after the theft, making it more difficult to trace.
The suspects are believed to have fled the Indwe area and may be travelling towards Ngcobo or Mthatha, although this has not been officially confirmed.
Residents and motorists in surrounding areas are urged to remain vigilant and report any sightings of the vehicle or suspicious activity to the nearest police station immediately.
At this stage, no official statement has been issued by SAPS. This is a developing situation, and further updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
