Man With Stab Wounds Arrives at Komani Police Station
A 42-year-old man arrived at the Komani Police Station on Saturday, 1 March 2026, after sustaining stab wounds.
Eastern Cape SAPS has confirmed that the man presented himself at the police station while bleeding severely. Police members at the station responded to the situation and emergency medical services were contacted to provide medical assistance.
Emergency Services Contacted
According to SAPS spokesperson Captain Yolisa Mgolodela, an ambulance was requested following the man’s arrival at the station.
However, emergency medical services were unable to transport him immediately. Police indicated that the man later decided to seek medical attention at Frontier Hospital.
No further details regarding his condition have been released.

SAPS further confirmed that no criminal case was opened in connection with the incident.
Police have not disclosed where the stabbing occurred or the circumstances that led to the man sustaining the injuries.
