Man Found Dead Along Louis Botha Street in Komani

A deceased man was discovered on the side of Louis Botha Street, one of Komani’s main roads, on Sunday morning.

The discovery was made at approximately 10:00 near the Louis Botha Street, across from His Grace Church. According to information available,Watchful Security patrol in the area came across the man while conducting routine patrols.

It is understood that a patrol officer noticed the individual lying in the grass next to the road and stopped to check on him. Upon closer inspection, the man was found to be unresponsive and already deceased.

South African Police Service (SAPS) and Emergency Medical Services (EMS) were immediately contacted and responded to the scene.

Witnesses described the response from authorities as swift and professional, with all relevant role players arriving promptly. The scene was secured while officials conducted their initial assessments.

The identity of the deceased has not yet been released, and the circumstances surrounding the death remain unclear at this stage.

Police are expected to investigate the incident further to determine the cause of death.

Motorists travelling along Louis Botha Street may have noticed increased activity in the area while emergency services were on scene.
