The municipality warned residents that illegal dumping is against municipal by-laws and called on communities to dispose of their waste responsibly.

Residents have been urged to use designated dumping sites instead of dumping rubbish in open spaces, along roads or near residential areas.

Cases of illegal dumping can be reported to ward councillors or directly to municipal offices.

The municipality also appealed for residents to work together with it to keep public spaces clean and safe.
