ANCYL provincial chairperson to lead Cradock campaign trail.
ANC Youth League (ANCYL) Eastern Cape Provincial Chairperson Lihle Chalo is expected to lead a campaign trail in the Chris Hani Region on Wednesday, 30 September 2026.
According to a programme issued by the ANCYL Eastern Cape, the campaign will take place in the Matthew Goniwe Sub-Region and will include activities in Cradock and surrounding communities.
The programme is scheduled to begin with a blitz campaign in Cradock town at 09:00.
At 12:00, the Youth League is expected to conduct door-to-door campaigning in Wards 6 and 3. Information accompanying the programme identifies Hillside and Lingelihle as areas where the door-to-door engagements will take place.
The day’s activities are scheduled to conclude with a community engagement at Vusubuntu Hall at 14:00.
The ANCYL said the engagements are intended to strengthen mobilisation, deepen engagement with communities and advance the organisation’s presence across the region.
Chalo is expected to lead the programme in his capacity as the ANCYL’s Eastern Cape provincial chairperson.
The campaign material promotes support for the ANC and forms part of the Youth League’s political campaigning in the area.
