Shift to Subregional Structure

The formation of the Enoch Mgijima Subregion leadership comes after the EFF resolved at its 3rd NPA to dissolve all regional structures and replace them with subregions. According to the organisation, this move aims to bring the party closer to communities at grassroots level and improve direct engagement with residents.

The newly elected leadership will oversee EFF operations across the Enoch Mgijima area, which includes Komani and surrounding towns and rural communities.

Looking Ahead

The EFF’s new subregional leadership will now be responsible for coordinating campaigns, community programmes, and organisational growth across the area. Their performance and community engagement are expected to be closely watched by supporters and political observers alike.
