Zonke encourages matric class to stay focused and determined
Grade 12 learners at Ekuphumleni Senior Secondary School received words of encouragement and support on Thursday as the school’s intervention classes programme officially got underway.
The Intervention Classes Welcoming Ceremony brought together learners, educators and education stakeholders as the Class of 2026 begins preparations for the final matric examinations.
Addressing those gathered, Executive Mayor Cllr Noncedo Zonke encouraged learners to remain focused on their studies, work hard and have confidence in their abilities as they embark on the important months ahead.
The mayor said commitment, discipline and determination would be key as learners prepare for their final examinations and future careers.
The municipality also commended Principal Mrs Stuurman for her leadership and dedication in creating an environment that supports academic achievement and learner success.
Recognition was also given to the Circuit Manager for continued guidance and commitment towards improving education outcomes within the circuit.
Inxuba Yethemba Municipality said it remains committed to supporting initiatives that give young people every opportunity to succeed and achieve their goals.
