Ngcobo Teen (15) Suffers Broken Limbs in Alleged Attack
A 15-year-old boy from the Mkhanzi area in Ngcobo has reportedly suffered serious injuries after an altercation with peers, leaving his family urgently appealing to authorities for action.
Alleged Incident at Local Shop
According to the boy’s parents, the teenager was with his friends near a local shop in the community when he became involved in a dispute with other children. The confrontation escalated, and the family claims one of the other children brought an adult to intervene, resulting in the boy sustaining broken arms and legs.
The family fears that, like similar cases in the past, the matter may be overlooked if authorities do not act.
Family Pushes for Authorities to Act
It is not clear whether a police case has been officially opened. The family is now appealing to local authorities to ensure the incident is formally investigated and that the teenager receives the necessary medical and legal support.
“The child was badly hurt, and we want justice,” the mother said, emphasising the urgency of the situation.
Community Concern Over Youth Safety
This incident has raised broader concerns about youth safety in Ngcobo, particularly when disputes among children escalate into serious violence. Residents are calling for stronger supervision and intervention to prevent similar incidents in the future.
The family hopes that swift action by authorities will ensure justice for the teenager and reinforce safety in the community.
