Community Demands Justice After Young Victim Found Mutilated Near Ezimbacwini

MOLTENO, Eastern Cape — Molteno police have announced a major breakthrough in the horrific case of Cwenga, a young girl whose brutal murder has galvanized the community and sparked intense public outcry for justice. Police confirmed that two suspects were apprehended yesterday, Tuesday, November 4, 2025, in connection with the crime.

Cwenga’s lifeless body was discovered on Saturday morning, November 1, 2025, in an open veld located near the Ezimbacwini and Nceduluntu areas of Molteno.
