Ngcobo Wastewater Treatment Plant Nears Completion

A major wastewater treatment plant project in Ngcobo is nearing completion, according to the Chris Hani District Municipality (CHDM).

CHDM Executive Mayor, Cllr Lisanda Sizani, recently visited the construction site to assess progress and ensure that the remaining technical work is completed.

The new facility is expected to benefit residents of Ngcobo town and surrounding communities within the Dr AB Xuma Local Municipality.

The project forms part of efforts to improve wastewater treatment infrastructure and sanitation services in the area.

While the municipality has indicated that construction is approaching its final stages, an official completion date has not yet been announced.
