HORROR IN GCUWA: TEEN (14) RAPED, KILLED AND BURNED!

BUTTERWORTH – A dark cloud of evil has descended on the Mnquma Local Municipality following the gruesome discovery of a teenage girl’s body.

The community of Gcuwa is reeling in shock after 14-year-old Sivuziwe Nxam from Xaxashimba met a violent and tragic end.

VISIT TO HELL

The tragedy unfolded when young Sivuziwe left her home to visit Khobodi village. It was supposed to be a normal trip, but her family’s worst nightmare became a reality when she did not return alive.

It is reported that the innocent teen was subjected to a horrific attack. She was allegedly raped and killed, but the horror did not stop there. In a cruel attempt to dispose of her, her body was set alight inside a toilet.

SUSPECT CAGED

Police in the Eastern Cape moved swiftly to investigate the heartbreaking case. A suspect has been arrested and is currently sitting in a police cell.

While the arrest has brought some relief to the terrified community, it has done little to heal the pain of the Nxam family who have lost their daughter in such a brutal way.

COMMUNITY DEMANDS NO BAIL

Anger is boiling over in the streets of Butterworth. Residents from Gcuwa and the greater Mnquma area have united with one loud voice.

They are demanding that the justice system show no mercy to the alleged killer. The community is calling for “No Bail,” insisting that the suspect must remain behind bars to ensure the safety of other children and to honour the memory of Sivuziwe.
