Liam Jacobs to meet residents in Nxuba on Tuesday

Liam Jacobs is expected to attend a Democratic Alliance (DA) community meeting in Michausdal, Nxuba, on Tuesday, 29 September 2026.

The DA’s Cradock and EC Middelburg branch has invited residents of the EC Midlands to meet Jacobs and speak with party representatives about issues affecting their communities. Bettie Lawens, whom the party describes as its mayoral candidate, and Heinrich Muller are also named in the invitation.

The meeting is scheduled to begin at 10:00 at the Michausdal soccer field, on the corner of Hoofweg and Charles Street.

The DA said residents would be able to hear from its representatives and put forward their questions and concerns. It has invited all residents to attend, whether they want to raise an issue or listen to the discussion.

The party’s announcement did not specify which issues would be discussed or set out a formal programme for the meeting.
