Medal Distribution at Bonkolo Marathon
Some runners who finished towards the end of their respective races reportedly received plastic medals, while earlier finishers received standard medals.
A few participants expressed disappointment and raised the matter with event organisers, who indicated that additional medals would be ordered.
As participants in the same race paid the same entry fee, some runners had expected to receive the same type of medal regardless of their finishing position.
