Komani Runners Club Celebrates Annual AGM and Awards

Komani — The Komani Runners Club held its much-anticipated annual AGM and awards evening on 21 February 2026 in Komani, with club members, families, and supporters gathering to celebrate an incredible year of running achievements. The event was filled with excitement, camaraderie, and recognition for outstanding performances across all categories.

• Most Improved Runner: Sanelisiwe Ndamase

• Junior of the Year: Lanya Oldham

• Top Female Runner: Bonnie Kruger

• Top Male Runner: Nkululeko Lekhoehla

• Podium Finisher: Patrick Makasi

• Most Improved Runner: Olwethu Pawula

• Top Female Runner: Wanda Gaba

• Top Male Runner: Nkululeko Lekhoehla

Special Recognition

• Supporter of the Year: Linda Mayekiso and Shameen Farooq

President’s Awards

The club also honoured its Comrades Marathon finishers, 18 in total, with medals including the prestigious Bill Rowan, Robert Mtshali, Bronze, and Vic Clapham medals. Special mentions went to:
