Three Injured in R61 Crash Near St Marks Junction

Three people were injured in a motor vehicle accident on the R61 near the St Marks junction on Sunday afternoon.
According to information received, the crash occurred at approximately 15:30. A silver Toyota Avanza travelling from Komani (Queenstown) towards Cofimvaba reportedly lost control, overturned and struck a tree on the side of the road.
Three Occupants Injured
The vehicle had three occupants at the time of the incident. All three sustained injuries and were transported to Cofimvaba Hospital for medical treatment.
The extent of their injuries has not yet been confirmed.
Cause of Crash Under Investigation
The exact cause of the accident is not yet known. It remains unclear what led to the driver losing control of the vehicle. Authorities are expected to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
