Community Groups and Local Business Join Forces to Clean Komani River.

KOMANI – A community clean-up initiative received a welcome boost as AR Boards & Hardware and the Imizamo Yethu Community Project joined forces with local volunteers to help clean the Komani River.

AR Boards & Hardware contributed staff members to assist with the clean-up, while members of the Imizamo Yethu Community Project also participated in the effort.

In a social media post, the organisers described the initiative as a successful conclusion to a productive week and thanked everyone who contributed their time and resources.

Despite challenges encountered during the clean-up, the organisers said they remained committed to improving the town’s environment.

The initiative forms part of ongoing efforts to promote a cleaner Komani through the #CleanQueenstown campaign.
