Areas Affected

Only Grey Street, Prince Alfred Street, and Ebden Street remain without electricity due to the damaged underground cable infrastructure. Other parts of Komani are not affected by this outage.

Ongoing Restoration Efforts

The replacement cable will allow technicians to begin the next phase of work, which includes placing and energising the new line to restore electricity to the affected areas. The municipality continues to apologise for the inconvenience and urges residents near the work sites to exercise caution.
