Fire Breaks Out at Small Shop in New Rest, Emergency Teams Respond
A small shop in New Rest on Church Street, Komani, caught alight on Thursday morning at approximately 08:00, prompting an emergency response from the Queenstown Rapid Response Unit (QRRU).
At the time of publishing, no injuries or casualties have been reported. Emergency teams remain on the scene as firefighting operations continue and the area is secured.
Emergency Response Underway
Fire response teams were dispatched shortly after reports of smoke and flames emerging from the shop. The Queenstown Rapid Response Unit (QRRU) is actively responding and assisting with scene management and public safety.
