Early Morning Collision Leaves Several Injured On N6

A collision involving two vehicles on the N6 near Lessyton left several people injured during the early hours of Wednesday morning.

Emergency services were dispatched to the scene at around 05:05 following reports of a motor vehicle accident involving two cars.

According to emergency services, five adult males were assessed on scene. Two patients sustained moderate injuries and were classified as yellow code patients, while three others sustained minor injuries.

Four of the injured were transported to Frontier Hospital for further medical treatment.

The crash occurred near Lessyton along the busy N6 route outside Komani. Traffic officials, EMS personnel and other emergency responders attended the scene.

The exact cause of the collision has not yet been confirmed and authorities are expected to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.

Motorists travelling along the N6 have been urged to remain cautious, particularly during early morning hours when visibility can be reduced and traffic volumes begin increasing.
