Learners at Kwakomani Technical High School in Komani spent Friday celebrating Valentine’s Day with a school-based event that included a lively food-eating competition.
The celebration took place on the school premises and formed part of activities organised to mark 14 February. Learners gathered to enjoy the occasion, with Valentine’s Day colours, snacks and a competitive spirit setting the tone for the day.
Fastest to Finish Wins
The highlight of the celebration was a food-eating competition, where participating learners competed to see who could finish their food the fastest. According to information shared with Komani News, the items included cakes, Simba chips, cooldrinks, biscuits and other snacks.
Classmates reportedly gathered around to watch and cheer on the contestants, creating an energetic and festive atmosphere on the school grounds.
While the competition was light-hearted, it drew strong participation and enthusiasm from learners eager to test their speed.
