Residents of Ward 10 in Komani have received confirmation that damaged roads in the Top Town area will be repaired following disruptions caused by recent cable replacement projects.

This follows engagement between Ward 10 councillor Tokkie Deysel and the Enoch Mgijima Local Municipality (EMLM) Technical Department regarding the deteriorating condition of roads affected by infrastructure work.

According to the councillor, the EMLM Technical Department has confirmed that all areas impacted by the various cable replacement works have been identified and will be attended to as part of an ongoing municipal road repair programme.

Damage Linked to Infrastructure Upgrades

Several roads in Top Town have been left damaged following cable replacement activities, leading to growing frustration among residents who raised concerns about safety, accessibility and the overall condition of the area.
