‘DIRTY WATER’ WARNING! DON’T DRINK THIS STUFF!

BCMM issued a terrifying URGENT WATER QUALITY ALERT this morning, confirming our worst fears.

Without power, the treatment plant can’t run its filters or disinfect the water properly. This means the stuff coming out of your tap right now could be visually GROSS and crawling with dangerous pathogens—bugs that can give you:

  • Nasty headaches

The warning is clear: Infants, the elderly, and sick people are at BIGGEST RISK!

MAYOR VOWS ‘NO MERCY’ FOR WATER THUGS!

“This is not just theft—it’s an attack on the health of our people!” shouted a source close to the Mayor’s office. “These criminals don’t care if a baby gets sick or an old granny ends up in hospital. They only care about a few miserable cents for copper!”

The Electricity Department is working flat-out to repair the damage and is HOPING to restore power by 12:00 PM TODAY (Wednesday, 3 December 2025). But the danger doesn’t end there.

HOW TO SAVE YOURSELF! BOIL OR BUST!

BCMM has issued a strict BOIL WATER NOTICE until further notice.

Follow these steps to stay safe:

  1. ROLL IT! Bring your tap water to a ROARING, ROLLING BOIL.

  2. ONE MINUTE! Keep it boiling hard for one full minute.

  3. CHILL! Let it cool down before you use it.

You MUST use boiled or certified bottled water for:

  • Washing dishes

  • Brushing your teeth

  • Preparing any food

TEST RESULTS WILL TAKE 24 HOURS!

Even after the power comes back on, BCMM says they need a full 24 HOURS to get test results from the lab to confirm the water is safe again.

Until you hear otherwise from the Municipality—KEEP BOILING!
