Parts of central Komani remain without electricity after Enoch Mgijima Local Municipality (EMLM) confirmed multiple cable faults affecting key streets.

The technical team’s recent tests revealed damage on underground cables supplying power to:

• Grey Street

• Portion of Queens Drive

• Schlebusch Street

• Griffith Street

This discovery means that restoration efforts cannot continue until replacement materials arrive, leaving affected residents and businesses in the dark.
