NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR REGISTRATION OF A POLITICAL PARTY IN
TERMS OF SECTION 16(1)(A) OF THE ELECTORAL COMMISSION ACT, 1996
(ACT 51 OF 1996)
1. Notice is hereby given that the HOFMEYR COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT FORUM
is applying for the registration in terms of the Electoral Commission Act, 1996 (Act
No. 51 of 1996)
2. Date on which the application will be or has been submitted to the Chief Electoral
Officer: it is the 12 March 2026
3. The abbreviation of the name of the party is HCDF
4. The distinguishing mark or symbol of the party is printed underneath.

5. Anyone wishing to raise an objection against the intended registration must do so by
written notice in which are set out the grounds for the objections and which must be
delivered at the office of the Chief Electoral Officer within fourteen days after the
publication of this notice.
