The streets of Komani are alive every morning with the sound of dedicated footsteps, courtesy of the Komani Runners Club. This vibrant and committed organisation is a cornerstone of the local running community, offering structure, support, and companionship for runners of all levels.
Komani News reached out to the club’s Secretary General, Linda Ndongeni, to get the essential details for anyone looking to lace up their shoes and join the action. Whether you’re a seasoned marathoner or just taking your first steps toward fitness, the Komani Runners Club has a place for you!
Training Schedule: Rise and Run!
If you want to train with the club, you’ll need to be an early bird!

Weekdays (Monday to Thursday): Training begins promptly at 5:00 AM every week.

Starting & Finishing Point: All weekday runs start and finish at Shell Ultra City Garage, Komani. The club assures members that the parking area is safe for vehicles.

Saturdays: Long Run Day! Saturdays are dedicated to long runs, which are catered to all members. Distances vary significantly, ranging from 12 km up to 30 km, depending on individual strength and training goals.

New to running? Don’t be intimidated! The Komani Runners Club has a dedicated structure to support newcomers.
