ANC Chris Hani Region Pays Tribute to Late Ward 9 Councillor Thembalakhe Tasana

The African National Congress (ANC) in the Chris Hani Region gathered in the Bathandwa Ndondo sub-region to honour and bid farewell to Thembalakhe Tasana, a stalwart of the movement and a serving Ward Councillor for Ward 9.

Tasana was remembered as a dedicated public representative who played an active role in local government and ANC structures, where he worked closely with residents to address community needs and service delivery concerns.

As Ward Councillor, he was widely regarded as accessible and committed, regularly engaging with constituents and advocating for their welfare at municipal level.

ANC members described his leadership as rooted in the organisation’s long-standing principles of people-centred governance and community participation.

His work in Ward 9 focused on improving living conditions and ensuring that community voices were represented within council processes.
