Komani Family Fears Something May Have Happened to Woman Missing Since November
Relatives Appeal for Help as Child’s Schooling Is Affected
KOMANI – A family in Komani has expressed growing concern that something may have happened to a woman who has reportedly been out of contact since leaving home in November, and they are now appealing to the public for assistance in locating her.
The woman has been identified by relatives as Lungiswa Ndzipo. According to her family, they have not heard from her for several months, which they say is out of character and has raised serious concern for her safety.
The appeal was shared with Komani News by a family member, who says the prolonged silence has left the family worried and desperate for answers.
“We are concerned that something may have happened to her,” Pamela said.
Child Left in Grandmother’s Care
The family says Lungiswa’s young son is currently staying with his grandmother, and her absence has begun to affect his schooling.
According to relatives, the child has lost his birth certificate, and without his mother present, they are struggling to replace the document. As a result, the child is reportedly unable to access free scholar transport, which is required for him to attend school.
“Her son who is staying with my granny needs her,” Pamela explained.
“He lost his certificate and now is unable to get free transport to school so they can register him.”
The family believes Lungiswa’s involvement is essential to resolve the administrative issues and ensure that her child’s education is not disrupted.
No Contact Since Leaving Home
Relatives say Lungiswa left home in November and that all attempts to contact her since then have been unsuccessful. They say the lack of communication has increased their fear that she may be in trouble.
At this stage, Komani News has not been informed whether a formal missing persons case has been opened with police. The family has not alleged any crime, but says the long silence is deeply worrying.
Family Makes Public Appeal
The family is appealing to anyone who may have seen Lungiswa, spoken to her, or knows where she might be, to assist by sharing information or encouraging her to contact her relatives as soon as possible.
They stress that the appeal is motivated by concern for her wellbeing and the urgent needs of her child.
“Please help me to reach my sister,” Pamela pleaded.
Community Asked to Share Responsibly
Members of the public are urged to share the appeal responsibly and avoid speculation. Anyone with credible information that may help locate Lungiswa is encouraged to contact her family directly or advise her to reach out.
Komani News notes that this article is published as a family concern and public appeal, based on information provided by relatives, and does not suggest or confirm that any criminal activity has taken place.
