Public Notice: Unplanned Water Supply Interruption Hits Komani Amid Power Outage
Komani, Eastern Cape – Residents of Komani are advised of an unplanned water supply interruption affecting several areas across the town due to the ongoing power outage. The outage has impacted the Komani Water Treatment Works, leading to low reservoir levels.

In response, the Chris Hani District Municipality has activated water-carting measures to provide relief in the most affected areas. Residents are urged to use water sparingly during this period to ensure that available resources last as long as possible.

“We thank our community for their patience and cooperation during this unforeseen interruption. Ensuring water supply is restored safely and efficiently remains our top priority,” said Mashiyi.
