Residents of Komani are appealing to the public for assistance in locating a man who has gone missing in the town, identified as Luzuko Mekuto.

According to information provided by community members, Luzuko Mekuto is originally from Cofimvaba and had come to Komani as part of a building construction project in the Ndlovukazi village area. It is understood that he is not familiar with the area.

He was last seen on Wednesday while heading towards Ndlovukazi village. Since then, he has not been seen again, prompting growing concern among colleagues and community members who have been trying to locate him.

Those involved in the search say efforts to trace his whereabouts so far have been unsuccessful. His unfamiliarity with the area has added to concerns, leading to calls for wider public assistance.

At the time he was last seen, Luzuko Mekuto was reportedly wearing:

• Black tracksuit pants

• White shoes

• He is described as short in height
