Three people were injured after a vehicle overturned on the R56 near Navar outside Elliot on Wednesday morning.
Emergency services responded to the scene at approximately 07:05 following reports of a motor vehicle accident involving a car that had overturned along the route.

According to the emergency incident report, EMS crews arrived on scene and found three injured male occupants requiring medical attention.
One patient sustained serious injuries and was classified as a red code patient, while two others sustained moderate injuries and were classified as yellow code patients.

All three patients were stabilised at the scene before being transported to Elliot Hospital for further treatment and medical assessment.
Emergency Medical Services personnel, SAPS members and traffic officials formed part of the response to the incident.

The cause of the crash has not yet been confirmed.
Motorists travelling along the R56 were urged to proceed with caution as emergency teams worked at the scene during the morning response operation.
