Collision Near Zola Village Sends Driver to Hospital

One person sustained minor injuries in a rear-end collision on the N6 near Zola Village in the Lessyton area on Sunday evening.

According to emergency services information, the crash occurred at approximately 19:00 on 24 May 2026.

The collision involved a silver hatchback and a light delivery vehicle. Emergency medical services, traffic officials, police and towing services responded to the scene.

The driver of the light delivery vehicle suffered minor injuries and was transported to Frontier Hospital for medical treatment. Emergency personnel classified the injuries as moderate but not life-threatening.

Passengers travelling in the hatchback declined transportation to hospital.  Both lanes of the N6 was closed for a brief period while the accident was cleared.

Emergency responders attended to the injured driver and secured the scene while authorities managed traffic in the area.

The circumstances surrounding the collision have not yet been disclosed.

Motorists were urged to remain cautious while travelling along the N6 following the incident.
