Missing child alert: 6-year-old boy disappears in East London

A desperate search is underway for a 6-year-old boy who went missing in East London, with family and community members urged to assist in locating him as quickly as possible.

Zenande Ngqalamba was last seen at the Southernwood Spar complex after being left in a locked vehicle by his father. According to information shared with the public, the father had taken the child to a doctor at the complex because he was unwell. When he returned to the vehicle, the child was no longer there.

Zenande is from West Bank in East London and was last seen wearing:

  • A navy top
  • Brown trousers

It is understood that the child has autism, which may affect how he responds to unfamiliar situations or environments. This has raised additional concern, as he may have wandered off without understanding the danger or how to find his way back.
